Wren with Orb Spider

A Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) surveys its territory, from a lichen covered perch, at Cley-Next-The-Sea holding an Orb Spider between its beak. It kept returning to the same perch with a variety of food for its young. When it was satisfied it was safe to do so it flew down from its vantage point and disappeared into some brambles to feed its young.
