Papilio machaon britannicus

A Swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon britannicus) at Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk, England. The butterfly was flitting from flower to flower nectaring on a small patch of flowers. It was soon surrounded by photographers jostling for the best position like paparazzi. It was the luck of the draw where the butterfly would land. Finally my patience was rewarded and I managed to get this image despite the crowds.
