Heavenly Swan

An angelic Male Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) emerges from the mist at Whittlingham Lake, Norwich, England. The mist and low cloud diffused the light and made this ethereal looking image possible. The Swan was backlit so I applied some positive exposure compensation to ensure the highlights retained detail. If Mute Swans go to heaven they must look like this!
