Fallow Deer Buck by Twisted Oak

A Fallow Deer (Dama dama) steps out of the deep shadows of the wood to be illuminated by the early morning light. It stands solidly next to an ancient twisted oak which contrasts strongly with the virile young buck. The decaying bark has revealed brown and bleached white wood which reflects the colours of the deer’s coat.
