Rim-lit Cygnet

A Cygnet (Cygnus olor) rim-lit by the early morning light at Whittlingham Lake, Norwich, England. I waited until the Cygnet entered an area of shadow where the light was still illuminating the bird. I crouched down in the lake at an angle to the light to maximise the effect. I underexposed to ensure the highlights were not blown out.
