Pheasant in the Fog

Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) stakes its claim to the foggy riverbank with its territorial display at Strumpshaw, Norfolk, England. Its feathers are backlit against the sun which struggled to burn through the fog and appeared in the sky as a white disk of light.
