Hide and Seek

A bull Grey Seal (Halichoerus grypus) hides in the dunes after being chased off the beach when he strayed into another bull’s territory. Occasionally he would look up to make sure he hadn’t been followed, peering tentatively through the Marram Grass before disappearing again. The difficulty was capturing the image in the rare moments when he looked up and wasn’t too obscured by the grass.
