Deaths Sweet Embrace

A Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is embraced by a Stoat (Mustela erminea) as it lies dead in the road. Just minutes before the rabbit had desperately tried to shake off the persistent attack of the Stoat. As the Stoat sunk its razor-sharp teeth deep into the Rabbits flesh it screamed out its distress like a baby crying out in pain. With a final fatal bite everything fell silent as the Stoat put the rabbit out of its misery and was overcome by death’s sweet embrace.
