Cygnet Portrait

A Cygnet (Cygnus olor) taken at Whittlingham Lake, Norwich, England. Last spring I regularly photographed a family of Mute Swans. Although they were very protective at first they soon got used to my presence which allowed me to get close enough to get this image without causing any distress. I converted the image to black and white to emphasise the texture of the feathers.
