Curious Seal Pup

A Grey Seal pup (Halichoerus grypus) keeps a watchful eye open in the dunes at Winterton Beach, Norfolk. I took a low position and waited for the pup’s curiosity to get the better of them. Focussing on the eye closest to the lens I took the image as soon as the pup looked directly at me to create this intimate portrait.
