Chalk Hill Sunrise

A Chalk Hill Blue butterfly (Polyommatus coridon) rests on Scabious as the sun rises at Warham, Norfolk, England. I shot into the light to create a silhouette highlighting the shape of the seed head which resembled the sun.The orange sky provided a striking contrast to the silhouette as the cold butterfly started to warm up in the first rays of morning light.
